The Fat Belt?
I read an article from the BBC yesterday with a particularly interesting info-graphic. American sociological trends are often divided into geographic "belts." The rust belt and the Bible belt are probably most familiar, as is the Canadian belt, containing the vast and unexplored wilderness perched above our great nation. But I'd like to postulate another one: the Fat belt.

And South Carolina, the one not really on the belt, is just above 25% at 25.1%...
